I’m going to share a very simple lesson my grandma taught me when I was four: if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all. This seems to be very lost on a lot of people these days in a world where many feel they have to have an opinion on everything and everyone and they HAVE to voice that opinion. You really don’t. I promise, you won’t explode if you don’t diss five people on the internet each day because you’re bored. Also, you’re not compelled to follow people when you don’t like what they post. This is an internet platform for sharing videos and photos and some anecdotes here and there, it isn’t the full encompassment of a human life. But absolutely unfollow/don’t follow those that don’t bring you inspiration, happiness, friendship, calm you, teach you something, or provoke some thinking. This is an app where you can decide to some degree what you want to see. You don’t need to use it to constantly compare yourself to others or waste time belittling people you’ve never👏even👏met👏
